Your magazine was what I looked forward to coming in the mail all the years my children were growing up. Probably 20 years. Then quit subscribing as the ads were increasing and the decorating examples were NOT appealing. Things didn’t seem to be anything I would want or even try. Got this months magazine in the mail free so sat to take time to go thru it. SURPRISE! I LOVED LOTS of things!!! Beginning with the Lands End 2 page spread with the gal sitting in the sun on a snow covered mountain.WOW. Then Neat gift suggestion: coffee-mug mixers in vintage spoons! Party ready quickie hairdo. Device FREE dinners, (boy is THAT a good idea for this “old-fashioned Nana”, Your story lives here. Great gift idea: fill an oven mitt (who DOESN’T want a nice clean mitt????) with small gifts, then super idea of left-over strangwiches!! Kelly Clarkson’s journey from ‘the dark time’, boy can’t most of us identify with THAT! Even the Folgers ad with “traditions don’t happen overnight” giving motivation to young couples to start their own family traditions to draw all closer together. Circulation booster; clever invention by a doctor…after my husband was in a horrific car accident 2 years ago…8 surgeries 5 months in rehab and needing to recover. This would have been a very helpful item to keep feet elevated for circulation as he healed. Then the “sprinkle Holiday Cheer” MAKE AHEAD (Boy do I love THAT!) chocolate cake with easy-peasy whipped cream frosting….now WHO doesn’t love THAT???? Then the Bagel Breakfast Bake…love those do-ahead items. So as you can see; I LOVED THIS NEW LOOK at Good Housekeeping. Good Old Fashioned FAMILY FRIENDLY ideas!! Keep up this good work. signed a homemaker that truly loves her job: Making HOME a place family and friends WANT to come HOME TO. Have a very Merry Christmas filled with Love and Good Deeds. Blessings, Sandy Hartzler

HELLO G.H I WANT TO TELL YOU THAT I LOVE, LOVE YOUR MAGAZINE. IT GIVES ME A LOT OF INFORMATION THAT IS PRICELESS. EACH MONTH I LOOK FORWARD TO YOUR DECORATIONS OF THE HOME AND HOLIDAYS AND THE ARTS AND CRAFTS. I LOVE THE ENTICING RECIPES OF DIFFERENT DISHES WHICH I TRY OUT ON MY FAMILY ALOT BUT NOT ALL OF THEM. I DON’T WEAR MAKEUP ANYMORE BUT IF I WAS YOUNGER I WOULD HAVE BEEN ALL IN. I WOULD LOVE TO SEE MORE THINGS THAT PERTAINED TO THE HOME IN YOUR MAGAZINE BUT IF NOT OK STILL LOVE THIS MAGAZINE. HAVE A GREAT HOLIDAY SEASON AND I LOOK FORWARD TO MORE AND MORE OF G.H.

Love the “whole” magazine, however, wish you would do a little more make-up and clothing attire for those of us over 65 – we aren’t dead yet and a good many of us are as healthy and active as many 40’s and 50’s. Dressing and make-up should be age appropriate but, what exactly is age appropriate?
I think GH has a lot of good reading even for the guys. After all, we have to see what the women are in to so we will know how to answer their questions.

Good Housekeeping covers the whole gamut of life; beauty, baking, decorating, new products being introduced. I love the quality of the magazine, the beautiful photography and to me it ranks right up there with other magazines such as Southern Living, etc. I don’t have time to read many magazines, but Good Housekeeping fulfills everything that interests me in each issue. Thank you for such a fine publication.

Wow! I thought the November issue was the best this year until the December issue came and blew me away!
Of course I loved all the recipes, especially the convenient cookie recipes. (Very clever putting a picture of one on each page!) I was also impressed with the gift ideas and tips. Since I’ve been away from the magazine for about 30 years, I was pleasantly surprised to find that it is better than I remember. Thank you for the heartwarming stories that show us how much better we could be at living and giving of ourselves.
Sincerely,
Verna Larson
