I watched the 2018 dream home special. I was really impressed with all of the structural work that went into this home. You took it to a great and functional place to live. Cudo’s everyone involved in the project.

Why is the winner and the date of the drawing so secretive? I’ve been entering everyday and would like to know when and who.

Such a beautiful home…. I watch all of the HGTV home make over shows and I have used alot of ideas on my old brick home in Colorado….but a home on the WATER oh my goodness!!!!

I love that house i was dreaming having my family in it. So is there a winner? a lucky one?

This fabulous home is truly my dream. Entered everyday x 2, praying daily x 4 , and is the answer to my retirement, a spectacular home on the water, with no payment. Best of all my kids are preparing for college, the money is a blessing.Looking forward to joining the Yacht club across the bay there as well. That’s how critical this is for us. Thank You God, for your many blessings!

I have never won anything in my life. This house is a dream come true. Beautiful inside and out. Entered daily twice and prayed it would happen. Love HGTV…its on all the time in my house – Love it of List it, Property Brothers, tiny homes, house hunters and the list goes on and on.

A really beautiful home ant the lake view is to die for. Supply love everything about the designers personal touch they put into every room’s and area of each room. Wow I wish I could have it. ?

We have a beach home in South Bethany Beach DE. Marnie’s homes are beautiful. She renovated a home behind us a few months ago…WOW turned out amazing…

I think the pictures they hung on the wall are from a preschool and the furniture straight from Ikea. I hope I win so I can design it and make it practical. I have never watched HGTV but if I win I’ll buy a color tv and record every episode and watch them repeatedly for ideas for my own remodel on my new IKEA home. Then I would consider giving it away to another family in need of a home. As my family is gone and have nobody to share it with.

When is the WINNER Announced? I live in Washington State and I only live 5 miles from Gig Harbor where the Dream Home is. With my bad luck I doubt I will win, but I won’t loose faith – lol

I’m annoyed that I can’t track down the rules now that the contest is over. I read them all the way through while it was going on. The winner should be informed now through the next couple of weeks if I remember correctly. Then they have a “winners weekend” the last week of April. Celebrate, meet the sponsors, etc. Anyone? Anyone? Bueller? :)

Entered every day. This is right in the area we’re looking to purchase. I would rather pay the “mortgage” of taxes for this place than the place we can afford! Someone’s got to win, right?

The notification of the winner is scheduled between Mar 19 and Apr 9. The tentative scheduled winner weekend is for Apr 28/29th, I believe. They tend to use the ambush style announcement from what I have read and seen.

According to HGTV, this year’s winner is 29-year-old Emily Muniz of Nashville, Tennessee.

Muniz’ name was drawn randomly from over 123 million hopeful contestants. She told HGTV that she and her husband, Kevin, each submitted two entries per day in hopes of winning the dream home, but of course they never imagined it would actually happen.

Now, Emily, Kevin and their 3-year-old daughter are packing up and moving to Washington, and the house that awaits them is insane.

We were hoping to win the beautiful home; our daughter lives in Seattle
How wonderful it would beso close to her in our golden years.

I am in need of a major rehab.
