Sears Hometown Stores is searching for America’s ugliest rooms – entries started pouring in earlier this month, and these have been narrowed down to the top 10 finalists: http://www.makeovertheugliestroom.com.

Eligibility : Open only to legal residents of the forty-eight (48) contiguous United States and the District of Columbia who are aged 18 or older (except in the case of legal residents of certain states where the age of majority is greater than eighteen (18) years of age, such age of majority) at the time of entry.

Promotion Period : Sears Home Town Stores Makeover The Ugliest Room Contest (“Contest”) begins at 12:00:01 PM Central Time (“CT”) on 8/1/10 and ends at 11:59:59 PM CT on 8/31/10 (“Contest Period”).

Prize (s):

THREE (3) GRAND PRIZES:  Each Grand Prize consists of paint, supplies, labor, color consulting services by a Sears Hometown Store representative and one (1) $500 Sears Gift Card plus one thousand dollar ($1000) donation to the Grand Prize Winner’s favorite charity, subject to approval by Sponsor. The approximate retail value of each Grand Prize: $3,500.
