Hi, I am Jamie Rood. I am trying to win this for my daughter Deidra (12) and my son Don D (15). We moved to La Verne, CA in June from Omaha, NE. It was an extremely difficult move for the kids. They have not experienced the excitement of LA yet. I think this would really get them excited about living here and the opportunities it provides. Plus, it will help them make friends. Both of their birthdays are in November, what a great gift this would be. Winning this contest could turn them from sad, homesick kids to happy, excited kids who see the potential of their new location. They are struggling and really deserve this.
Thanks for the opportunity.
