I have limited tv reception and try watching ION and ION plus. However, I can’t stomach the lead guy on Chicago PD, the lead guy on CSI NY, the lead guy on CSI Miami and Vince D’Onofrio. Really! I can’t stand seeing or hearing those characters. Even just the ads for their shows! As soon as they come on, I change channels. Oh…and I would never bother to watch the “Saving Hope” soap opera.
Speaking of ads…most are okay, positive and somewhat uplifting. It’s a refreshing change. However…the ad for “Believe” is an instant turn-off for me. It’s like chalkboard annoyance for me to hear that singer screaming. It’s not pleasant singing…it’s screaming and I hate it. In the “Encourage” ad, I think it’s stupid. The kid violates all the rules and sneaks up on stage to fool around with a priceless, grand piano. How can this possibly deserve encouragement?
Lastly (maybe)…your programming…please get rid of the religious shows. It’s offensive and repugnant to me. There are far too many infomercials. What a waste!
So…given my limited tv access and the overwhelming numbers of ION TV broadcasts that I can’t stand, there isn’t all that much left but I do appreciate a lot of your shows.
