Eligibility : Open only to legal residents of the U.S. and its territories, possessions and commonwealths who are 21 years of age or older as of April 14, 2011
Promotion Period : Beginning at 9:00 a.m. Eastern Time (“ET”) on April 14, 2011 until 5:00 p.m. ET on June 2, 2011

Limit : Limit one (1) online entry on the HGTV Website, per valid email address, per eligible person per day
Prize (s) :
One (1) Grand Prize Winner shall win the Grand Prize which consists of: (i) the home located in Stapleton, Colorado (the “HGTV Green Home”) that is featured in the “HGTV Green Home” special (including home furnishings and merchandise as determined by Main Sponsor in cooperation with the Product Participants and installed prior to conveyance); (ii) One Hundred Thousand Dollars ($100,000.00) (awarded in the form of a check); and (iii) an automobile. The home is valued at approximately Five Hundred Fifty Thousand Dollars ($550,000.00) (includes structure, lot, landscaping, furnishings, and artwork) as of February 1, 2011. The automobile is a 2011 GMC Terrain (Approximate Retail Value “ARV”: $38,775.00). The Grand Prize Winner will have the option of receiving the following for a total of ARV of $618,775.00: (i) $480,000.00 in cash in lieu of the home; (ii) the $100,000.00 cash prize set forth above; and (iii) the 2011 GMC Terrain (ARV: $38,775.00). Total ARV of Grand Prize is $688,775.00 if Grand Prize Winner takes title to the HGTV Green Home or $618,775.00 if Grand Prize Winner selects the cash option in lieu of taking title to the HGTV Green Home.
Winner List : Beginning on or about August 21, 2011 you may obtain the name of the Grand Prize Winner, either by going to the Websites (www.hgtv.com and www.frontdoor.com) or mailing a self-addressed stamped envelope to: “HGTV Green Home Giveaway — Winner’s List, PO Box 51544, Knoxville, TN 37950”. Requests received after September 8, 2011 will not be honored.

My husband is disabled and we may lose our home. My daughter wants to go to college to be a doctor and we wont have the money to send her with a huge house payment and no money left to spend.
