Prize (s):
School Network Grand Prize (1): the school network with the most cumulative points earned by its students will have the Sponsors arrange a music concert at or near its campus at Sponsors’ expense. Tickets will be guaranteed for all student winners and their guests with the balance made available for FREE for general student admission on a first come, first served basis. Musical group, concert date and arrangements will all be determined by Sponsors and are subject to both music group’s and school’s facility availability, suitability of school’s concert facility, and school’s approval. Use of school facility is also subject to school’s policy on acceptance of gifts and/or fees for use of facility. Sponsors, in their sole discretion, may opt to hold concert at a more suitable location near the school, if the school’s concert facility is not deemed suitable. If a suitable facility, as deemed by Sponsors, cannot be arranged within 60 miles from the winning school’s location, a runner-up school network will be awarded the prize. Concert will be held by 11/20/08. If the concert is cancelled for any reason, it will be postponed, however the Sponsors cannot guarantee that the same musical group will be available for the postponed concert date selected.
Student Grand Prizes (3): the top ranking three students from any school network will each be awarded a trip for two people to attend the concert and have the opportunity to meet the band. The trip consists of roundtrip coach air transportation from a major airport nearest winner’s current residence at time of concert, two (2) nights double-occupancy hotel accommodations (one room, two people), two concert tickets, and the opportunity to meet the musical group before the concert ($2,200 ARV per prize).
Top Ten Student Prizes:
The top ranking ten (10) students from the winning school network will each be awarded one concert ticket, the opportunity to meet the musical group before the concert and an 8GB Zune media player ($165 ARV). If the concert is cancelled for any reason, the Sponsors will have no other obligation to the winners other than to provide the stated prize minus the concert tickets.
