2011 Women Doing Good Contest

Eligibility : This contest (the “Promotion”) is only open to nominators and nominees who are legal residents of the 50 United States and District of Columbia and are at least 18 years old as of the date of entry

Prize (s) :

There will be three (3) winning nominees. The prize is two (2) coach airfare tickets from the major commercial airport nearest wining nominee’s primary residence in the US to New York City; one (1) standard hotel room (double occupancy) for two (2) nights at a hotel selected by Sponsor; and attendance at an awards ceremony in NYC in September 2011. Winning nominee may also, at Sponsor’s discretion, be featured in the September and/or December 2011 issue of SELF. The total approximate retail value of each prize is $2,500, depending on exact itinerary. Actual value of the prize may vary based on fluctuations in price for airfare and/or accommodations, and distance between departure and destination. Ground transportation, meals, in-room or other personal charges at lodging (e.g., mini-bar, movies), telephone calls, gratuities, incidentals, and all other expenses are not included. The prize winning nominee must be available to travel to coincide with the event; otherwise the winner forfeits the prize and an alternate winner may be chosen. The winning nominee and their travel companion must be available to travel on the same itinerary. Sponsor will attempt to accommodate winner’s preferred itinerary, but all specifics thereof will be at Sponsor’s sole discretion. If, in the sole judgment of Sponsor, air travel is not required due to a winner’s proximity to prize location, ground transportation may be substituted for roundtrip air travel. Travel companions must be 18 years of age or older as of the date of departure. In addition, $10,000 will be awarded to the 501C3 accredited charity of the winning nominee’s choice (subject to Sponsor’s approval).
