Downy Design Your Scent Contest and Sweepstakes

Eligibility : The Downy Design Your Scent Contest and Sweepstakes is open only to residents of the 48 contiguous United States or the District of Columbia 18 years of age or older at time of entry and residents of Canada who are the legal age of majority in the province or territory in which they reside at time of entry.

Promotion Period : Beginning at 12:00 AM (Start of Day) (ET) on 8/25/09. Entries must be received by 11:59:59 PM (ET) on 12/27/09.

How To Enter : Eligible U.S. residents may visit www.designyourdowny.com and eligible Canadian residents may visit www.designyourdowny.ca and follow the on-screen instructions to complete the Official Contest Entry Form, name and create an original Downy Simple Pleasures scent using the online tools, and input your scent description (25 words or fewer) in the space provided.

If you submit an entry into the contest, you will automatically be entered into the sweepstakes only for the first contest entry that you submit.  If you wish to enter the sweepstakes without entering the contest, beginning at 12:00 AM (Start of Day) (ET) on 8/25/09 eligible U.S. residents may visit www.designyourdowny.com and eligible Canadian residents may visit www.designyourdowny.ca and follow the on-screen instructions to complete the Official Sweepstakes Entry Form and submit an entry into the weekly sweepstakes.

Limit : Limit 5 contest entries per email address per day.
Limit one sweepstakes entry per email address throughout the duration of the program.

Prize (s):

CONTEST: (3) Grand Prizes with a total approximate retail value of $6,000 (U.S. Dollars) will be awarded as follows:  Each winner will receive a 2-day/1-night trip for winner and guest to Procter & Gamble headquarters in Cincinnati, OH in March, 2010, for the introduction of the new Downy Simple Pleasures scent and to see the advertising plans for the scent launch.  Prize includes round-trip coach air transportation from major airport nearest winner’s home, 1 night hotel accommodations (1 room, double occupancy), and ground transfers between airport and hotel (ARV: $2,000 per prize) (U.S. Dollars).

SWEEPSTAKES: (17) prizes (1 per week) with a total approximate retail value of $1,700 (U.S. Dollars) will be awarded as follows: Each winner will receive a $100 Spa Gift Card (U.S. Dollars).
