Fandango’s Scare-Off Video Contest: It’s horror season, fright fans!

Just in time for Halloween, Fandango and Blumhouse Productions, producer of Paranormal Activity Series, are inviting you to submit a video inspired by your favorite horror movie moment for a chance to win a walk-on role in a movie by Blumhouse Productions!

One luck Grand Prize Winner will receive a three (3) day, two (2) night trip for two (2) to the filming location of a Blumhouse film in 2016 where he/she will have the opportunity to appear in the background as a non-speaking “walk-on” in the Film!

Here’s how it works. Now through October 26th, record a 15-second video inspired by your favorite horror movie moment and post it to Instagram using #ScareOffContest. Be sure to tag @Fandango in your caption and you’ll be automatically entered into the Contest. You may submit up to twenty-six (26) unique videos for a maximum total of twenty-six (26) entries, one (1) per day, during the Contest Entry Period.

Then, between October 26, 2015 and October 31, 2015, the top Video will be selected by Jason Blum and the Blumhouse Team based on the following judging criteria:

• Relevance to the Theme (50%)
• Originality (25%)
• Creativity (25%)

Participation into the Fandango’s Scare-Off Video Contest is open only to permanent, legal residents of the fifty (50) United States and the District of Columbia who are at least eighteen (18) years of age (or the age of majority in their state of residence, whichever is older), as of October 1, 2015, with access to an iOS or Android device, as well as to the Internet, at all times during the Contest Period and subsequent Prize Award Period.
