Nick Kid of the Year Award 2020 Sweepstakes at kidoftheyear2020.com is your chance to win a trip to the Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards and Slime Fest, $5,000 cash, and more.
Eligibility : This Nick Sweepstakes 2020 is open only to legal residents of the fifty (50) United States and the District of Columbia. Nominators may be any age, but all Nominees must be between eight (8) and sixteen (16) years or age as of August 1, 2020.
Sweepstakes Period : The Giveaway begins on May 18, 2020 and ends on September 15, 2020.

Limit : Each Nominator may submit multiple Submissions during the Submission Phase but may only submit one Submission for each Nominee.
Prizes :
- Semi-Finalist Award: The twenty (20) Semi-Finalists will each be awarded a one hundred dollar gift card redeemable for goods and/or services from a merchant or service provider selected by Sponsor (in its sole discretion). The Approximate Retail Value (“ARV”) of the Semi-Finalist Award: One Hundred Dollars ($100.00).
- Finalist Award: The five (5) Finalists will each be awarded: (i) a $5,000 check, payable to the Finalist; (ii) the designation of “kid reporter” for one (1) year with the ability to make editorial contributions to TIME for Kids magazine, TIME Edge magazine, TIME magazine, and/or their respective online, digital and social media platforms throughout such year; (iii) a TIME for Kids reporter T-shirt, press credentials, reporter’s notebook, and letter of congratulations; and, (iv) a trip for each Finalist and their parent or legal guardian to the Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards and Slime Fest. The ARV of each Finalist Award: Eight Thousand Forty Dollars ($8,040.00).
- Honoree Award: The Honoree will be announced as TIME’s Kid of the Year and will receive a framed TIME magazine cover of their choice. The ARV of the Honoree Award: One Hundred Twenty-Five Dollars ($125).

How to be kid of the year
My daughter Anyaa is definitely the kid of the year. She can dance, act, sing and she’s an amazing inspiration to everyone in the family. Anyaa Shephard is my awesome little girl because she always wants to give back. She gives to the needy with the Evangelistic Crusaders and she’s only seven years old. Anyaa says if she won the money, she would give back to her family who has done so much for her and she would also give to the local animal shelter. She is just an all around well rounded kid who deserves to be rewarded. Please pick my daughter, Anyaa Shephard.

So, I turned 18 on June 2nd 2020, I have a huge plan however I do not know how to code and it would be hard to set up in every state however, I wanted to invent an app that is for schools that keeps track of who and when gets on the school bus with their school id’s, and tells the bus driver who is still on the bus at each stop and give substitute bus drivers GPS location so they know exactly where to stop everyday, it’d keep track of who gets on and off the bus and where the bus goes and if the bus tips over or something it’ll contact the school and the bus driver would have a button to click if he’s okay. If students wake up late they can click a button and if there’s time the bus will go to another stop and then come back for that student, and it’d estimate the time when the bus should be there even if the bus goes out of service areas and if students don’t have a phone then there will be a system like the free phone deal.
