I started with skoal in 1971 and what is called original was what there was if you wanted winter green flavor. Also it was in a cardboard can. I still use the same skoal today. In the coal mine we had walls of skoal where everyone put their empty cans by putting a nail through them. Some of the walls were 6′ high and 40′ long and you could see the difference in all the cans made. That was thousands of cans on the walls. I wish I’d taken some pictures before they got sealed in the mountains.
